Vegan Frosting - Dairy Free Buttercream

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter, room temp
  • 21/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • splash of liquid (nut milk or water)

Instructions
 

  • Whip butter until it softens. Add the vanilla & whip again.
  • Slowly start adding the powdered sugar 1/2  a cup at a time. Make sure to scrape down the edges in between with a spatula.
  • Add a splash of liquid as needed to get the consistency you want.

Notes

Use any vegan butter. Most come salted, but it's usually less than 2%, you won't taste it.
